Home of unique UKC Champion Parti Colored Standard Poodles
*************************************************************
The United Kennel Club welcomes all multicolored poodles, except the Merle pattern, into their show rings, classed as Gun Dogs, which was their original purpose. Through the hard work of dedicated parti breeders, this ORIGINAL color pattern is making a strong come back. Early in the breeds' history multicolored dogs were shown together with solids, but in the early 1900s, under pressure from the important solid breeders of the day, the PCA (Poodle Club of America) made multicolored markings a serious fault and grounds for disqualification in the AKC show ring, which was already being done in Europe. For decades breeders of solid colored Poodles would "bucket" particolored pups and hide the fact that they were ever born. A few were given away without papers and with strict non-breeding rights. Even with this hard "culling" of multicolored pups, to this day they still crop up occasionally in solid to solid breedings where the gene still exists. It is hoped that Partis and all other Multi-Colored Poodles, including Brindles, Sables, Phantoms, etc., will eventually regain status and again claim their rightful place in the AKC conformation ring, alongside their solid counterparts.
*************************************************************
Our mission is to promote healthy, beautiful, low COI (Co-efficiency of In-Breeding) and genetically diverse Parti Colored Standard Poodles that are dual registered through AKC and UKC, with great structure, genetic health, temperament and color. Health testing of our breeding adults will exceed the minimum requirements of the breed for CHIC. ALL results, positive and negative, will be publicly posted on the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) website and PHR (Poodle Health Registry) Database. Making health testing results openly available to potential breeders and puppy seekers will help them to make the best possible choices for future generations of Standard Poodles.

Very knowledgable. I'd suggest you host you site on your own domain name , so that people would be more easier to remember you blog address

We are in the market for a male. When is your next litter available?
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to take so long to respond. While I am currently caring for my elderly parents and disabled sister, I had to take a hiatus from breeding. I am hoping for a litter or two later this year.
